واشنطن، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية (CNN)-- أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب أنه سيمنع تطبيق "تيك توك" الصيني في الولايات المتحدة، وأنه سيتخذ إجراء ضده، السبت، وذلك وسط مخاوف أمريكية من أن تستغله الصين في التجسس على مواطنين أمريكيين.

وقال ترامب، للصحفيين على متن الطائرة الرئاسية خلال عودته من ولاية فلوريدا إلى واشنطن: "فيما يخص تيك توك، سنقوم بحظره في الولايات المتحدة". وأكد أنه يرفض صفقة محتملة بين شركة "مايكروسوفت" و"تيك توك" بعد أنباء عن أنها تسعى لشراء التطبيق من شركة ByteDance الصينية.

وذكرت صحيفة "نيويورك تايمز"، الخميس، تنقلا عن مصدر على دراية بالمفاوضات أن شركة مايكروسوفت تجري محادثات لشراء تطبيق "تيك توك"، بينما رفضت "مايكروسوفت" التعليق على تلك الأنباء بعد طلب من CNN.

ويرى منتقدو تيك توك أن البيانات التي يجمعها عن مستخدميه في الولايات المتحدة قد تصل في النهاية إلى أيدي الحكومة الصينية، على الرغم من أن الشركة قالت إنها تخزن بياناتها خارج الصين، وأنها ستقاوم أي محاولات من بكين للاستيلاء على المعلومات.

وقال خبراء الأمن السيبراني إن المخاطر المحتملة لـ"تيك توك" على الأمن القومي نظرية إلى حد كبير، ولا يوجد دليل يشير إلى أن بيانات مستخدمي "تيك توك" قد تم اختراقها من قبل الاستخبارات الصينية.
