أوبك تتوقع استمرار الطلب العالمي على النفط لفترة طويلة

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN)— توقعت منظمة اوبك استمرار نمو الطلب العالمي على النفط لغاية 2045 فيما العالم يتجه نحو الانتقال الى مصادر أخرى للطاقة.

وتسببت جائحة كوفيد العام الماضي بتراجع الطلب على النفط وإلى هبوط الأسعار.

وفي تقرير سنوي عن "النظرة المستقبلية للطاقة" قال محمد باركيندو وهو أمين عام المنظمة: "ارتفع الطلب على النفط والطاقة بشكل ملحوظ في العام 2021 بعد التراجع الهائل في العام 2020 ومن المتوفع استمرار نمو الطلب على المدى الطويل."

كما أدت الجائحة الى تراجع الاستثمارات النفطية التي من دونها ستكون اسواق الطاقة عرضة للمزيد من التقلبات.

وقالت المنظمة أن نمو الطلب العالمي على جميع أنواع الطاقة باستثناء الفحم سينمو بنسبة 28% بين 2020 و2045. ستشهد الطاقات المتجددة النسبة الاكثر نمواً يليها الغاز لكن سيظل النفط في المرتبة الاولى في مزيج الطاقة.
