نيويورك (CNN)– بلغت ثروة ايلون ماسك 222 مليار دولار ليتصدر أغنياء العالم، بحسب مؤشر أغنى أغنياء العالم التابع لبلومبرغ. 

وارتفعت ثروة موسك بـ10.6 مليار دولار بعد أن قام المستثمرون بعملية بيع ثانوية تم الاعلان عنها الاسبوع الماضي قيمت شركة الفضاء التابعة له "سبيس اكس" Space X بأكثر من 100 مليار دولار، بحسب ما أعلنت شبكة سي ان بي سي.

وأتى جيف بيزوس وهو مؤسس أمازون في المرتبة الثانية حيث بلغت ثروته 191.6 مليار دولار. وأرسل موسك قلادة فضية إلى بيزوس في إشارة الى أنه في المركز الثاني عبر تغريدة على موقع تويتر.

واستطاع ايلون موسك جمع ثروة هائلة بفضل اسهم شركة "تسلا" للسيارات الكهربائية التي يتبوأ منصب رئيسها التنفيذي وحصة الغالبية التي يملكها في "سبيس اكس".
فكسب موسك 8.6 مليار دولار منذ إغلاق أسهم تسلا يوم الجمعة وأكثر من 52 مليار دولار منذ بداية العام، بحسب مؤشر بلومبرغ.

كما أن أسهم تسلا شهدت ارتفاعاً ايضاً بعد عام مضطرب. وارتفعت 13% منذ بداية العام لكنها لا تزال أقل بكثير من مكاسب بلغت 743% حققتها في 2020. 

وتمتد المنافسة بين موسك وبيزوس إلى الفضاء. فحتى قبل أن تطلق شركة "سبيس أكس" في سبتمبر/ أيلول أول مهمة سياحية لها في الفضاء، ربحت الشركة عقوداً هائلة من إدارة الطيران والفضاء الأمريكية (ناسا) والجيش الأميركي وأطلقت أقوى صاروخ فضائي.
