دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN)-- أُضىء برج خليفة في دبي بألوان العلم اللبناني، مساء الثلاثاء، بعد انفجار مرفأ بيروت، الذي أسفر عن مقتل 73 شخصًا على الأقل وإصابة أكثر من 3 آلاف آخرين.

وكتب حساب برج خليفة، في انستغرام: "تعازينا لأهلنا في لبنان الحبيبة! اللهم ارحم من انتقلوا إليك.. اللهم الطف بأهلها.. اللهم ألهم شعب لبنان الصبر والسلوان".

كان رئيس الوزراء اللبناني، حسان دياب، وصف انفجار مرفأ بيروت بأنه "كارثة"، داعيًا إلى تقديم مساعدة دولية بلاده في "بلسمة جراحنا".

وقال دياب، في كلمة تليفزيونية، مساء الثلاثاء، إن "بيروت ثكلى ولبنان كله منكوب"، مُتعهدًا بمحاسبة المسؤولين عن الانفجار، وكشف معلومات عن المستودع الذي تسبب في الانفجار، قائلا إنه موجود منذ ٢٠١٤.

وفي وقت سابق، ذكرت وكالة الأنباء اللبنانية أن سبب الانفجار حريق اندلع في مستودع للمفرقعات قرب المرفأ.
