دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN)—أعلن الديوان الأميري وفاة الشيخ ناصر صباح الأحمد الصباح، نجل أمير الكويت الراحل، صباح الأحمد الصباح، عن عمر يناهز 72 عاماً.

ومن المقرر أن يوارى جثمان الشيخ ناصر الأحمد الصباح في التاسعة والنصف من صباح يوم غدٍ الاثنين.

وتأتي وفاة الشيخ ناصر الأحمد الصباح، بعد مرور قرابة 3 شهور على رحيل والده الشيخ صباح الأحمد الصباح، في 29 سبتمبر أيلول 2020.

وشغل نجل أمير الكويت، الذي ولد في 27 أبريل نيسان 1948، وزير الدفاع والنائب الأول لرئيس مجلس الوزراء. كما سبق أن كان نائباً وزيراً لشؤون الديوان الأمير ونائباً لرئيس المجلس الأعلى للتخطيط والتنمية، والمستشار الخاص لولي العهد ورئيس مجلس الوزراء.

ويشار إلى أن الشيخ ناصر الأحمد الصباح لعب دوراً مؤثراً في وساطة الكويت من أجل حل الأزمة الخليجية مع قطر، بحسب تقارير صحفية.
