دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN)—نشر صلاح، نجل الإعلامي السعودي، جمال خاشقجي صورة لوالده الذي قتل في قنصلية بلاده بإسطنبول بأكتوبر/ تشرين الأول 2018 تتزامن مع ذكرى ميلاده الـ63.

جاء ذلك في تغريدة لصلاح على صفحته الرسمية بتويتر، حيث قال معلقا على الصورة: "في عيد ميلادك الثالث والستون أدعو الله ان يتغمدك برحمته وأن يجعلك في أعلى عليين".

ويذكر أن إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي، جو بايدن، كانت قد كشفت نهاية فبراير/ شباط الماضي عن تقرير وكالة الاستخبارات "CIA" حول مقتل خاشقجي، والذي ذكر أن ولي العهد السعودي، الأمير محمد بن سلمان وافق على عملية اعتقال أو قتل الإعلامي السعودي.

وجاء في ملخص التقرير: "نقيم أن ولي العهد السعودي محمد بن سلمان وافق على عملية اعتقال أو قتل الصحفي السعودي جمال خاشقجي، في إسطنبول"، وفق النص.

من جهتها عقّبت وزارة الخارجية السعودية في بيان حينها مؤكدة رفضها ما ورد في التقرير الأمريكي معتبرة أن الاستنتاجات التي أفضى إليها "مسيئة وغير صحيحة".
