دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN) -- أعلنت الهيئة العامة لمكافحة الفساد الكويتية "نزاهة" عن إحالة قياديين سابقين وآخرين في وزارة الكهرباء والماء إلى النيابة العامة بتهم ارتكاب جريمة الاضرار الجسيم بالمال العام.

وقالت "نزاهة" في بيان صحفي، نشرته وكالة الأنباء الكويتية "كونا"، إن الاحالة تأتي استمرارًا لجهود الهيئة الرامية لمكافحة الفساد ودرء مخاطره وآثاره وملاحقة مرتكبيه من خلال استقبال البلاغات الجدية مكتملة الشروط.

وأكدت "نزاهة" عزمها مواصلة الجهود والاجراءات بشأن فحص وجمع الاستدلالات والتحريات في جميع البلاغات الجدية مكتملة الشروط التي ترد إليها.

كما ثمّنت دور المبلغين في ممارسة دورهم في مساعدة الهيئة للوصول إلى المعلومات والبيانات اللازمة عن وقائع الفساد وملتزمة في نفس الوقت بتوفير أقصى درجات الحماية والسرية اللازمة لهم والتي فرضها القانون واللائحة التنفيذية.
