دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN)— تستعد القوات الجوية الملكية السعودية للمشاركة بتمرينات "العلم الأحمر 2022" بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية خلال شهر مارس/ آذار المقبل.

ونشرت وكالة الأنباء السعودية الرسمية صورا للطائرات والفرق المرافقة لها بتغريدة على صفحتها الرسمية بموقع التواصل الاجتماعي، تويتر.

وذكرت الوكالة في تقرير: "قام صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير الفريق الركن تركي بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز قائد القوات الجوية الملكية السعودية اليوم بزيارة إلى قاعدة الملك عبدالعزيز الجوية بالقطاع الشرقي؛ للوقوف على استعدادات مجموعة القوات الجوية المشاركة في تمرين العلم الأحمر 2022 الذي سينفذ في قاعدة نلس الجوية بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية خلال شهر مارس القادم، حيث ستشارك فيه القوات الجوية الملكية السعودية بعدد من الطائرات المقاتلة الحديثة، من نوع (ف- 15 إس اي)، مع كامل أطقمها الجوية والفنية والمساندة".

وأكد قائد مجموعة القوات الجوية الملكية السعودية المشاركة في التمرين العلم الأحمر 2022، المقدم الطيار الركن طلال بن عبدالعزيز بن بندر آل سعود أن "هذا التمرين يهدف إلى تبادل الخبرات العسكرية والتقنية بين القوات المشاركة في مسرح عمليات حقيقي، بالإضافة إلى محاكاة التهديدات الحديثة على مستوى العالم، وأن التمرين التحضيري تم بكل احترافية وعلى أعلى درجات السلامة"، وفقا لما نقلته الوكالة.
