دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN)—أعلن تحالف "دعم الشرعية" الذي تقوده المملكة العربية السعودية في اليمن، فجر الأحد، عن اعتراض طائرات مسيرة أطلقتها جماعة الحوثي واستهدفت عددا من المواقع في المملكة.

نشرت وكالة الأنباء السعودية الرسمية وقناة الإخبارية الحكومية في المملكة صورا مقاطع فيديو لآثار محاولة الاستهداف.

وأعلن التحالف عن احباط "هجوم عدائي للمليشيا على معمل الغاز المسال بمحطة أرامكو بينبع.. اعتراض وتدمير ٣ طائرات مسيرة أطلقت لاستهداف منشآت اقتصادية.."

وكان التحالف قبلها بساعات قد أعلن اعتراض وتدمير 4 طائرات مسيرة أطلقها الحوثيون باتجاه المنطقة الجنوبية، وكذلك عن هجمات استهدفت محطة تحلية المياه بالشقيق ومنشأة أرامكو بجازان ومحطة كهرباء ظهران الجنوب.

وبحسب قناة "الإخبارية" السعودية، قال التحالف إن "التصعيد الحوثي باستهداف المنشآت المدنية والاقتصادية بمثابة الرد على الدعوة الخليجية، والرفض لجهود ومبادرات السلام".

وأعلن التحالف عن وقوع "أضرار مادية لمركبات مدنية ومنازل سكنية جراء الهجمات العدائية، ولا خسائر بالأرواح"، وأكد: "نتابع انطلاق هجمات عدائية عابرة للحدود من مطار صنعاء الدولي"، وفقا لوكالة الأنباء السعودية "واس".
