دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN)-- نفت السلطات المصرية، الأحد، صحة ما قالت إنها مزاعم باختفاء باحث اقتصادي قسريًا قبل الكشف عن وفاته.

ونفى مصدر أمني، في بيان لوزارة الداخلية المصرية "صحة ما تداولته بعض الصفحات التابعة لجماعة الإخوان الإرهابية على مواقع التواصل الإجتماعى.. بشأن الزعم بإختفاء المواطن/ أيمن هدهود قسريًا".

وقال المصدر إنه "بتاريخ 6 فبراير 2022 تبلغ من حارس أحد العقارات بمنطقة الزمالك بالقاهرة بتواجد المذكور داخل العقار ومحاولته كسر باب إحدى الشقق وإتيانه بتصرفات غير مسؤولة.. وقد تم إتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية فى حينه وإيداعه بإحدى مستشفيات الأمراض النفسية بناءً على قرار النيابة العامة".

ولا تزال ظروف وفاة الباحث الاقتصادي وعضو الهيئة العليا لحزب الإصلاح والتنمية أيمن هدهود غير معروفة. 

في وقت قال شقيقه في تصريحات لموقع "مدى مصر" الإخباري المستقل، إن النيابة أمرت بتشريح جثمانه الأحد.

ونقلت وسائل إعلام مصرية عن مقربين من أسرة الباحث قولهم إنه اختفى منذ 5 فبراير/ شباط الماضي، وأن الأسرة علمت بوجوده في أحد المقار الأمنية رغم نفي المسؤولين. وذكر هؤلاء الأشخاص أن الأسرة علمت مؤخرًا أنه توفي قبل نحو شهر في داخل مستشفى العباسية للأمراض النفسية.
