دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN)-- أصدر أمير الكويت، الشيخ مشعل الأحمد الجابر الصباح، أمرًا أميريًا بتزكية الشيخ صباح خالد الحمد المبارك الصباح وليًا للعهد، حسبما أفادت وكالة الأنباء الكويتية (كونا).

سبق أن تولي الشيخ صباح الخالد الحمد الصباح (71 عامًا) رئاسة الحكومة الكويتية في الفترة من 19 نوفمبر/تشرين الثاني 2019 إلى 24 يوليو/تموز 2022.

وإليكم أبرز المعلومات عن ولي عهد الكويت:

- من مواليد عام 1953.

- حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس في العلوم السياسية من جامعة الكويت في 1977.

- من 1978 إلى 1983: التحق بوزارة الخارجية بدرجة ملحق دبلوماسي وعمل في الإدارة السياسية – قسم الشؤون العربية، ثم التحق بوفد الكويت الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة في نيويورك بين عامي 1983 و1989.

- عمل سفيرًا للكويت لدى السعودية ومندوبًا لدى منظمة المؤتمر الإلاسمي خلال الفترة من 1995 إلى 1998.

- حصل على وسام الملك عبدالعزيز من الدرجة الأولى في 1998. وفي نفس العام تولى رئاسة جهاز الأمن الوطني بدرجة وزير.

- عُين وزيرًا للشؤون الاجتماعية في عام 2006، ووزيرًا للإعلام (2008 - 2009).

- في الفترة بين عامي 2011 و2017، تسلّم حقيبة الخارجية وعُيين نائبًا لرئيس مجلس الوزراء.

- في 19 نوفمبر/تشرين الثاني 2019، عُين رئيسًا للحكومة.
