(CNN) --  أعلن مصدر عسكري عراقي عن مقتل حاكم "داعش" في الموصل سعدي الجبوري بغارة لقوات التحالف في يوم عيد الميلاد.

وأكد اللواء واثق الحمداني، أحد كبار القادة في الشرطة العراقية، والذي يقود الجهود الحكومية لاستعادة مدينة الموصل من أيدي تنظيم الدولة الإسلامية "داعش،" بأن الجبوري، المعروف بـ"أبوطالوت،"  قتل في غارة في قرية زويّة في منطقة القيارة على بعد 30 كيلومترا إلى الجنوب من الموصل.

والجبوري هو ثاني حاكم يعينه تنظيم "داعش" يتم قتله في غارة لقوات التحالف خلال 25 يوما، ففي 19 نوفمبر/ تشرين الثاني الماضي، قتلت الغارات الأمريكية سلفه رضوان طالب الحمدوني، إضافة إلى ثلاثة من معاونيه، أحد سعودي الجنسية.

وكان تنظيم داعش قد عين مساعد الحمدوني، معمر توحلة، حاكما على الموصل، ولكنه أعدم في 8 ديسمبر/ كانون الأول الجاري بتهمة الخيانة والتخابر مع الجيش العراقي وقوات التحالف الدولية.

من جهة أخرى، أكد المرصد السوري لحقوق الإنسان مقتل أكثر من 100 شخص بفعل غارات شنها الجيش السوري على مدينة الباب وبلدة قباسين شمال حلب، الواقعتان تحت سيطرة التنظيم المتشدد.
