دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN) -- سجلت السعودية قفزة بعدد حالات الشفاء من فيروس كورونا المستجد، بعد أن أعلنت عن تعافي 7718 شخصا الثلاثاء.

وكشفت وزارة الصحة السعودية عن شفاء 7718 شخصا من الفيروس ليبلغ الإجمالي 177 ألفا و560 حالة منذ بدء تفشي المرض في البلاد.

وتُمثل حالات الشفاء المعلن عنها الثلاثاء المعدل اليومي الأكبر منذ بدء تفشي المرض في البلاد إذ كان أكبر معدل يومي لحالات الشفاء في 6 يوليو/تموز الجاري بـ5205 حالات.  

وعلى صعيد الحالات الإيجابية، فسجلت المملكة 2692 إصابة جديدة بالفيروس ليرتفع الإجمالي إلى 237 ألفا و803 حالات في عموم السعودية.

ويُمثل الرقم المعلن عنه الثلاثاء انخفاضا في أعداد الحالات الإيجابية المسجلة في البلاد ليكون الأقل منذ مطلع يونيو/حزيران الماضي.

وبشأن حالات الوفاة الناجمة عن الفيروس، فسجلت المملكة 40 حالاة جديدة ليرتفع الإجمالي إلى 2283 حالة منذ بدء تفشي المرض.
