دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN) -- أعلنت هيئة التحكيم في كرة القدم الإنجليزية "PGMOL" إقالة الحكم ديفيد كوت، بسبب "انتهاك قواعد العمل".

في نوفمبر/ تشرين الثاني الماضي، انتشر مقطع فيديو لكوت على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، ظهر فيه وهو يدلي بتعليقات سلبية حول نادي ليفربول والمدير الفني السابق له، يورغن كلوب، قبل أن يتم فتح تحقيقا بهذا الشأن.

وقالت هيئة التحكيم، في بيان، الاثنين: "بعد الانتهاء من تحقيق شامل في سلوك ديفيد كوت تمّ إنهاء عمله مع الهيئة اليوم على الفور، لقد تبين أن تصرفاته تشكل انتهاكا خطيرا لأحكام عقد عمله، ليكون غير قابل للاستمرار في منصبه".

وأضافت: "دعم ديفيد كوت يظل مهما بالنسبة لنا، ونحن ملتزمون برفاهيته، وله الحق في استئناف قرار إنهاء خدمته".

وتولى ديفيد كوت إدارة مباريات  في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز (البريميرليغ) منذ 2018، وكان بعضها من أكبر المباريات في كرة القدم الإنجليزية خلال تلك الفترة، وقاد مباراة بين ليفربول وأستون فيلا في نوفمبر/ تشرين الثاني.
