وتقول الشركة إن الإلهام لتصميم هذين البرجين قدم التصاميم الكلاسيكية لمباني القرن العشرين في نيويورك.

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN)-- يستمر المهندس المعماري بياركي إنغلز بإضفاء تغييرات ذات طابع اسكندنافي على أفق مدينة نيويورك الأمريكية، بعد أن كشفت شركته "Bjarke Ingels Group" عن مشروع جديد لبرجين ملتفيّن بقيمة 1.9 مليار دولار.

ويحمل المشروع اسم "The Eleventh"، وسيقع في منطقة تشيلسي الغربية في المدينة. وستكون الأبراج ذات استخدامات متعددة، وستتراوح ارتفاعاتها ما بين 91 و 121 متراً.

ويتميز البرجان بتصميم ملتوٍ يعطي شعوراً بالحركة، وعند اكتمالها في العام 2019، سيتمتعان بإطلالة متنوعة لنهر الهدسون وقلب منطقة مانهاتن.

وسيضم البرجان 240 شقة، ومطاعم، ومرافق تجارية وترفيهية، إلى جنب كونهما المركز الأول لسلسة فنادق "Six Senses" الفاخرة.
