واشنطن، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية (CNN) -- اعتلقت الشرطة الأمريكية النجم خواكين فينيكس، الحاصل على جائزة غولدن غلوب عن فيلم الجوكر، ضمن مشاهير جرى اعتقالهم خلال الاحتجاجات ضد التغيرات المناخية في العاصمة، واشنطن.

وأكدت مبادرة الفنانة الأمريكية جين فوندا لـCNN أنه تم إلقاء القبض على مُمثلين، بينهم فينيكس، هذا الأسبوع، إضافة إلى الفنان الأمريكي مارتن شين.

وتحققت شرطة الكابيتول الأمريكية من أن 147 شخصًا تم اعتقالهم في احتجاج يوم الجمعة، لكنها لم تقدم قائمة بالأسماء.

وقال متحدث باسم شرطة الكابيتول لـ CNN، إنهم جميعًا متهمون بالتجمهر وعرقلة حركة المرور والإزعاج.

وفي خطاب ألقاه لزملائه المحتجين، دعا فينيكس مُصنعي اللحوم والألبان للقيام بدورهم في أزمة المناخ.

وهذا هو الأسبوع الرابع عشر من احتجاجات أزمة المناخ لمبادرة جين فوندا في واشنطن.

وركزت احتجاجات هذا الأسبوع على البنوك والمستثمرين الرئيسيين الذين يمولون التوسع في صناعة الوقود الأحفوري. إنه أيضًا الاحتجاج الأخير في الوقت الحالي، حيث ستعود فوندا إلى لوس أنجلوس.
