دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN)-- أجرت روسيا اختبارًا لصاروخ من طراز تسيركون الأسرع من الصوت، وفقا لما أوردته وكالة أنباء تاس الروسية.  

ونقلت "تاس" عن رئيس الأركان العامة للجيش الروسي الجنرال فاليري جيراسيموف، خلال حديثه إلى الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين عبر الفيديو، الأربعاء، قوله إن فرقاطة تابعة للأسطول الشمالي اختبرت بنجاح إطلاق صاروخ تسيركون الأسرع من الصوت من البحر الأبيض ضد هدف بحري على مسافة 450 كيلومترًا.

وأشار جيراسيموف إلى أنه "أمس (الثلاثاء)، الساعة 7:15 صباحًا، قامت الفرقاطة... بإطلاق صاروخ تسيركون لأول مرة على هدف بحري يقع في بحر بارنتس".

وأكد رئيس الأركان العامة الروسية أنه "تم تنفيذ مهام الإطلاق، وتم الاعتراف بأن تجربة إطلاق النار كانت ناجحة وتم تسجيل الصاروخ ليصيب الهدف بدقة".

وأضاف جيراسيموف: "طار الصاروخ إلى مدى 450 كيلومترًا، وتسلق إلى أقصى ارتفاع 28 كيلومترًا. استغرقت الرحلة أربع دقائق ونصف. اكتسب الصاروخ سرعة تفوق (ثمانية أضعاف سرعة الصوت).

ولفت أنه أنه بعد انتهاء التجارب العسكرية، سيدخل نظام صاروخ تسيركون الخدمة في غواصات البحرية الروسية والسفن السطحية.

ونشرت وزارة الدفاع الروسية مقطع فيديو قصير للحظة إطلاق الصاروخ وقت اختباره.
