(CNN)-- أعلنت الشرطة الصينية، الأربعاء، أنها فتحت تحقيقا مع ممثل كوميدي بسبب دعابة ألقاها عن شعار يستخدم لوصف الجيش.

وقالت شرطة العاصمة الصينية بكين، في بيان عن الممثل لي هاوشي: "بسبب التأثير الاجتماعي السلبي الناجم عن إهاناته الخطيرة للجيش الشعبي أثناء أدائه، فتحت الشرطة تحقيقا معه".

وكان الممثل استخدم عبارة مرتبطة بالجيش خلال عرضه الكوميدي في مسرح ببكين خلال عطلة نهاية الأسبوع.

وفي وقت سابق من يوم الأربعاء، أعلنت شركة شنغهاي شياوجو كلتشر ميديا أنها فصلت الممثل المتعاقد معها، وأصدرت اعتذارا عما فعله، كما ألغى لي هاوشي جميع عروضه.

وقال مكتب بلدية بكين للثقافة والسياحة إنه تم تغريم الشركة 1.91 مليون دولار أمريكي وحرمانها من 189 ألف دولار أمريكي حققتها بـ"مكاسب غير قانونية"، في إشارة واضحة إلى العروض التي قدمها الممثل الكوميدي في نهاية الأسبوع الماضي.

وتفرض الصين رقابة صارمة على القضايا التي تعتبرها حساسة، وفي عام 2021، أصدرت قانونًا يحظر "إهانة" العسكريين.
