مصر تعلن أول حالة وفاة بفيروس كورونا لمواطن من الجيزة

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN)—أعلنت وزارة الصحة المصرية، مساء الخميس، تسجيل أول حالة وفاة بفيروس كورونا الجديد أو ما بات يُعرف باسم "كوفيد-19"، لشخص يبلغ من العمر 68 عاما من محافظة الجيزة توفي بمستشفى العزل.

جاء ذلك على لسان خالد مجاهد، المتحدث باسم وزارة الصحة المصرية، حيث أعلن "تسجيل 46 حالة جديدة ثبتت إيجابية تحاليلها معمليًا للفيروس، تشمل 4 حالات لأجانب قادمين من الخارج من جنسيات مختلفة و42 مصريين من المخالطين للحالات الإيجابية التي تم اكتشافها والإعلان عنها مسبقًا، وذلك ضمن إجراءات الترصد والتقصي التي تُجريها الوزارة وفقًا لإرشادات منظمة الصحة العالمية".

وأضاف مجاهد أن "إجمالي العدد الذي تم تسجيله في مصر بفيروس كورونا المستجد حتى اليوم الخميس هو 256 حالة من ضمنهم 28 حالة تم شفاؤها وخرجت من مستشفى العزل، و7حالات وفاة"، مؤكدا على أن "جميع الحالات المسجل إيجابيها للفيروس بمستشفيات العزل تخضع للرعاية الطبية، وفقًا لإرشادات منظمة الصحة العالمية".

وأكد مجاهد على "عدم رصد أي حالات مصابة أو مشتبه في إصابتها بفيروس كورونا المستجد بجميع محافظات الجمهورية سوى ما تم الإعلان عنه"، مشيرًا إلى أنه "فور الاشتباه بأي إصابة سيتم الإعلان عنها فورًا، بكل شفافية طبقًا للوائح الصحية الدولية، وبالتنسيق مع منظمة الصحة العالمية".
