الكويت تعلن حظر تجول جزئي مع تسجيل البلاد معدلات إصابة مرتفعة لفيروس كورونا

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN)-- أعلنت الحكومة الكويتية، مساء الخميس، فرض حظر تجول جزئي، يبدأ من الأحد المقبل ويستمر إلى 8 أبريل/نيسان المقبل.

وحسبما نقلت وكالة الأنباء الكويتية (كونا) عن الناطق باسم الحكومة طارق المرزم، سيسري تطبيق الحظر الجزئي بداية من الساعة الخامسة مساءً حتى الخامس صباحًا.

وقال المرزم في مؤتمر صحفي، عقب اجتماع استثنائي للحكومة، إن مجلس الوزراء قرر تكليف وزير الداخلية باتخاذ التدابير والإجراءات لفرض حظر التجول في البلاد.

وسمحت الحكومة الكويتية بأداء فرائض الصلاة في المساجد مشيًا على الأقدام والسماح للصيدليات وأماكن بيع المستلزمات الطبية والجمعيات التعاونية والأسواق بمزاولة نشاطها عبر خدمات التوصيل فقط.

 في حين ستتوقف المطاعم والمقاهي عن تلقي الطلبات خلال ساعات الحظر المُعلنة، فيما كلفت الحكومة ببحث آلية مناسبة لمعالجة التداعيات الاقتصادية المحتملة لجائحة كورونا.

ويوم الخميس، أعلنت وزارة الصحة الكويتية تسجيل 1716 إصابة جديدة مؤكدة لفيروس كورونا، وهو أعلى معدل يومي تسجله البلاد منذ بداية الجائحة.

وبلغ عدد حالات الوباء المسجلة 196,497 ألف حالة، فيما وصل مجموع الوفيات 1,105 حالة.
