(CNN) -- قال الرئيس الفنزويلي نيكولاس مادورو، الخميس، إن حكومته تتخذ خطوات لحظر منصة التواصل الاجتماعي "إكس"، تويتر سابقا، في البلاد لمدة 10 أيام.

واتهم مادورو مالك "إكس"، إيلون ماسك، بانتهاك قواعد المنصة الاجتماعية من خلال التحريض على "الكراهية والفاشية والحرب الأهلية".

وقال مادورو إنه وقع على اقتراح مع لجنة الاتصالات الوطنية (كوناتيل) لإخراج الشبكة الاجتماعية من التداول.

وحاولت CNN التواصل مع "إكس" للحصول على تعليق. 

ويأتي إعلان مادورو بعد أن تبادل هو وماسك التعليقات القوية علنًا ضد بعضهما. إذ لجأ ماسك إلى حسابه على "إكس" لمهاجمة مادورو، في حين هاجم الرئيس الفينزويلي ماسك عبر بياناته بشكل رئيسي. 

عارض ماسك نتائج الانتخابات التي أعلنها المجلس الانتخابي الوطني الفنزويلي (CNE) في 28 يوليو/تموز، وإعلان فوز مادورو. في حين اتهم مادورو ماسك بأنه جزء من المتآمرين على بلاده. 

كما انتقد مادورو مؤخرًا تطبيق واتساب، المملوك لشركة ميتا. وقال إنه سيزيل التطبيق من هاتفه وحث أتباعه على التوقف عن استخدامه أيضًا.
