وعن تجربة تصميم يخت مرسيدس للمرة الأولى، قال نائب رئيس التصميم غوردون واجينير من شركة "Daimler AG" ، وهي الشركة الأم لـ "مرسيديس بنز": "مهمتنا كانت اكتشاف لغة تصميم مناسبة لأبعاد ومتطلبات السفن".

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة (CNN)-- حوّلت شركة "مرسيدس بنز" اهتمامها من تصنيع السيارات إلى تصنيع اليخوت.

وبالتعاون مع شركة "Silver Arrow Marine" البريطانية، رأى أول يخت من تصميم "مرسيدس" النور، باسم "Arrow 460-Granturismo".

وعن تجربة تصميم يخت "مرسيدس" للمرة الأولى، قال نائب رئيس التصميم غوردون واجينير من شركة "Daimler AG" ، وهي الشركة الأم لـ "مرسيديس بنز" إن "تصميم السفينة كان تحدياً مثيراً لمصممي السيارات مثلنا. مهمتنا كانت اكتشاف لغة تصميم مناسبة لأبعاد ومتطلبات السفن".

ويحاكي تصميم يخت "Arrow 460-Granturismo" تصميم سيارات "مرسيدس بنز فئة .". وتتضمن المزايا التي يتمتع بها هذا اليخت جهازاً مسجلاً عالي الجودة، وأنظمة تكييف. وتتمتع نوافذ اليخت بخاصية التعتيم الذاتي لحجب ضوء الشمس عن الركاب، كما يمكن فتح النوافذ الجانبية والزجاج الأمامي بلمسة زر.

ويأتي اليخت مزوداً بطاولات وأسرّة قابلة للطيّ، وسرداب لحفظ النبيذ، وحمامات فاخرة، وغرفة لتبديل الملابس.

ويبلغ ثمن يخت "Arrow 460-Granturismo" النسخة الأولى ما قيمته مليونين و800 ألف دولار. ولم تصنّع الشركة سوى عشرة يخوت فقط.
